What Herb thinks
Why is Paris Burning?

During the UN Security Council battle over going to war in Iraq, some of us American's called France and Germany the "axis of weasels." Why? Because they were supposed to be our allies, but they wouldn't support us. After reading these articles Read about it here And here, I feel a little differently.

No, I don't think France and Germany made the right decision to not support us. But, I now better understand why they did what they did.

This brings us to another article from the Netherlands. While posting commentary about what's going on in Paris, Radio Netherlands actually asks their readers to comment on whether they thought religion was bad for society Read about it here.

You see, the Netherlands has the same ethnic powder box, if not a larger one, as the one that just went off in France. I bet some of the leaders in the Netherlands might be looking for cover right now. From what I've been reading, this uprising in France could spread across Europe.

This brings us to the EU's Javier Solana. It just happens that Gijs de Vries, whom Solana recently appointed as his new Terror Tzar, was the high-ranking minister who representative the Netherlands at the convention where the EU's constitution was debated and formed. One of his duties also had to do with immigration.

This brings us back to our opening question. Why is Paris burning?

And, to what Radio Netherlands' asks: Could religion be bad for society?

What's happening should sound familiar. Remember? When that blood thirsty Roman Emperor Nero decided to blame the burning of Rome on us Christians, that's when our persecution began.

Friends, before this is all over, we may need cover too.

His name is Jesus.
